This map displays all of the data collected by the INFOMAR and INSS project that has been fully processed to date. This viewer allows you to
zoom into an area and see what data is available for that area.
All of the information available to be viewed is listed in the left Map Contents
pane. You can expand a map layer using the + sign and check layers on/off using the toggle boxes. Once you have the relevant layer switched on you can view any data associated
with it by clicking on the (i) tool and clicking on a point in the map.

Downloading Data used in the Map
The following is a small video tutorial on how to download data used to create the viewer:
- Download a Bathymetry grid in ArcGIS Grid format
- Download a Shaded Relief or Backscatter Raster dataset
The main steps are as follows:
- Click on the
icon in the top right of the Webmapping Viewer Window - Click and drag a box around the area you are interested in, this will pass the bounding coordinates of the area of interest to the IWDDS system
- In the IWDDS system select the following from the drop down options to download Bathymetry:
- Data Type: ArcGIS Grids
- Region: Offshore
- Theme: Bathymetry Survey Leg ArcGIS GRID or Bathymetry Merged Survey ArcGIS GRID
- In the IWDDS system select the following from the drop down options to download Backscatter or Shaded Relief images:
- Data Type: Offshore Geotiffs
- Region: Offshore
- Theme: Backscatter Geotiffs or Bathymetry Shaded Relief Geotiffs
